We describe ourselves as a social club who try to keep to the traditions of amateur rugby in these modern times.  We play in Hampshire Division 2.

We are currently actively recruiting new players, non playing members and coaches to the club. If you are interested in getting involved with Stoneham RFC please get in touch.

We have a good but slightly thin squad which we are looking to expand with some new key players to step into the team and play competitive rugby on a regular basis.  Our aim is to build on the current playing squad, increase our competitiveness and establish a family orientated rugby club for the future of Rugby in the Eastleigh, Hedge End/West End and Swaythling areas. (Obviously players outside these areas are more than welcome).

If your playing rugby in a 2nds or 3rds team for a larger club and are looking to play more serious competitive rugby, or have not played rugby for a few years or  even completely new to the game, Stoneham is the place for you. We have players of all ages and experience levels. We are a social orientated club with no clicky niche groups. Each year we arrange several social functions including our annual tour weekend (usually mayday bank holiday). Over the past 5 years we have been to Weston Super Mare, Neat, Newquay  and Dublin travelling as70s stars, Pirates, Rock and Pop stars, Cowboys and Superhero’s !!
